What happen if my child is ill?

Children and us adults get sick, so please don't worry. We can reschedule your shoot to another time. If you can give 24hrs that is preferable so I can fill your spot.

What happens if it's raining or cloudy? 

If it's a rainy stormy time when your shoot is booked than I am happy to rebook your session, we can't control the Singapore weather and it can be unpredictable. However often the weather passes quickly and we can do it slightly later. I always check the weather forecast before your session and message you in advance if I think we may need to postpone or push the timings a little for it to clear. Sessions on cloudy days will go ahead as scheduled as cloud gives us the perfect cover from the strong sunlight here in Singapore and acts as a perfect diffuser of light. You will be surprised how bright and beautiful this light looks on overcast days, and it makes for very beautiful photographs.

Can you edit out my wrinkles?

Yes, I can! Whilst the emotion and connection I like to capture in family photographs is very natural and real, I do understand and know that most of us would prefer not to see every pore on their face in all its glory. I sensitively retouch skin and blemishes with a very light hand with the aim you won't even know when you see the images. It's also worth bearing in mind that I never photograph you in direct light on your faces and instead seek out soft, luminous light so that minimal skin retouching is needed.

What should I wear?

Once you have booked your session with me I will send you a outfit guide along with colour palettes that will help you choose comfortable and colour co-ordinated outfits for your session that will look fabulous in very photograph.

We prefer photos where we are not looking at the camera

I always take a variety of photographs that are a mix of naturally candid moments, whilst helping you with some posed moments too. Don't worry I can help you with how to position yourself and postures to create flattering photographs you will all be happy with. You can also let me know what style you prefer so I can capture the style you love the most of your family moments. My best advice is to simply interact with your children with cuddles, tickles, games, collecting flowers or find bugs together and let me capture away with gentle guidance so everyone has a fun time.

What are your favourite locations?

There are so many wonderful spots to shoot outside in Singapore and if you decide to book a location shoot I can send you my list of popular locations with visuals so you can decide. Some places are more suitable to different ages and again I can advise you on that. You can also choose to have your shoot at home if you perfer to capture your family life in a candid at home environment and if you have a pretty outside garden or condo space we can pop outside to capture some photographs there too.

Can we have the RAW or unedited files?

I take huge pride in my work and will only give you beautifully edited finished photographs that look their very best. For that reason the RAW unedited images are not available for purchase. My editing process is as much a part of my artistic skill as the way I capture the images for you.

Can we include Grandparents?

Yes you can! There is no extra fee for including Grandparents and I love doing my popular larger family shoots and including the timeless generational photographs.

Do you do Black and White photographs?

Yes I do, all the images are captured as colour files, but I edit a variety of your photographs into beautiful B&W images for you to see and choose at your viewing appointment.

How long do your photo shoots last?

My photo shoots last about an hour, in that time I can capture a variety of your family moments, including individual photographs of your children, each parent with the children, the children together and the whole family together. This is the perfect amount of time to keep the momentum going and ensure everyone has fun and feels relaxed.
