British photographer Kate is the talented and award-winning woman behind Littleones Photography. Established in Singapore in 2007 and before that in London in 2004, even before that I was a qualified nurse! I have spent my whole teenage and adult life surround by people and learning the art of talking to people and making people feel comfortable and at ease. Along with being a qualified nurse, my mother ran a nursery from home, so I grow up with babies and little people in my life everyday. I learnt from a young age, how to wrangle a toddler, calm a tantrum, turn around a grumpy face, and became an expert ‘baby whisperer’. I am also a very lucky mummy to 3 beautiful children and step-mummy to another 3 beautiful children!

Getting to know people is my skill and something which makes the whole photography experience for clients relaxing. I love meeting new people from all different walks of life and from around the globe.

I became a professional photographer after qualifying with the prestigious Master Photographer Association and also hold qualifications with the British Institute of Professional Photographers, and the Royal Photographic Society. Over the years I have been proud to win many awards. Singapore Tatler have named me as the Best Portrait Photographer for 3 years in a row and Expat Living Magazine readers have voted me as the Best Singapore Photographer for 5 years in a row too.

Established for the last 19 years as a luxury portrait photography business; I'm now highly in demand for my family photography amongst a discerning - and often well known – Singapore client base.

I specialise in beautiful baby, children and family photography either in my clients' homes or on location or in my boutique studio. I love to celebrate motherhood in my images. I adore photographing little ones because they are so enchanted with the world around them and have a million-and-one different expressions. 

 

​

I am passionate about using available natural light to create soft, flattering, light-filled photographs; my signature look is fresh, natural portraits set in nature, with light softly filtering through the trees. But I also love the creative side to studio lighting and working with this type of lighting to make fine art photographs. My aim is to create stunning, artistic portraits that you fall in love with and photos that are passed down through generations.

The studio is the perfect size for newborns and babies and families and has a lovely relaxed, homely feel to it, which definitely helps put little ones at ease. Studio sessions are very relaxed, we play music, play and the kids have a great time. 

 

I also photograph modern, elegant women's portraits for personal branding, as a fresh alternative to the traditional "corporate headshot". My clients include entrepreneurs, businesswomen and men and bloggers.
